The schedule is the eighth edition of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup tournament.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup was originally scheduled to be held in 2022. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Cricket Council (ICC) in November 2020 confirmed that the tournament was postponed. Finally, it is confirmed that the Cricket Women’s T20 World Cup tournament will be hosted by South Africa, during 9 – 26 February 2023.

How COVID-19 Guidelines Affect the Schedule
To ensure the safety protocol and COVID-19 guidelines goes well, each of the arrangements currently scheduled for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is tentative and flexible to change.
The list below is a draft of the general schedule so far, and finally we now have come to the most exciting part:

- September 3-8, 2021: ICC Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifier (Samoa)

Exciting Moment : Freshmen of T20 Women’s T20 World Cup 2023
One of the spotlights of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is the number of countries that will compete for the first time – including Bhutan, Cameroon, France, Myanmar, and Turkey. The report further states that Brazil and Argentina will generate buzz and draw a lot of attention, since the last time they attended in the competition dated back to 2012. According to an official press launched from the ICC, the addition of these countries to the list has been recognized as a “nod to the growth” of women’s cricket on a global scale within emerging markets.
ICC Women’s Cricket Manager, Holly Colvin said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the return of cricket for ICC women’s events. This is an exciting time for women’s cricket with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 raising the bar for women’s sporting events. Sustaining and then building on the momentum from February is key and the start of the next Women’s T20 World Cup qualifying pathway is a great place to start. There is lots to look forward to in the cricket scheduled with 115 women’s T20 Internationals due to be played over seven months and five teams competing in their first ever ICC Women’s Qualifier.”
